Rare Crown Staffordshire Bone China Christmas Tree Cup with Hand Painted Enamels, 1930s

This is a delightful art deco cup with a three finger hold handle showing a Christmas tree with candles and ornaments above two robins. The red, yellow, brown and green enamels have been hand painted on. Stamped underneath is a green Crown Staffordshire mark and hand painted in red the number 16381 with the letter H (probably the painter).

The cup is in excellent condition with a minor rub to the foot rim.

The Crown Staffordshire Porcelain Co. Ltd was a manufacturer of high grade porcelain at Minerva Works, Fenton, Staffordshire from around 1889 to 1985.
