Hollow-moulded terracotta statue of a court entertainer from the Chinese Han Dynasty (206 BC –220 AD). With a hand to an ear and a joyous expression. Hand-pressed into a mould. From the Sichuan region which has a strong musical tradition.
One chip to the bottom edge. Otherwise, no cracks or repairs.
