Oak Box With Black Painted Carry Handles To Each Side, Circa 1900

Good size oak box with a black painted carry handle to each side. The remains of internal divisions suggest this might have have originally been a cartridge box for carrying gun/shotgun cartridges. Circa 1900.

Lock and catch have been removed.
