Both bottle and lid are marked with the Royal Copenhagen three blue waves mark. The green backstamp has a line under the first N of Copenhagen, dating it to 1957.
The vase is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or restoration.
The high quality of the painting on this vase reflects the reputation of Royal Copenhagen, founded in 1775 under the protection of the Danish Dowager Queen. The company was privatised in 1868, but retained the "Royal" designation.
