Victorian cast iron boot scraper by Archibald Kendrick & Sons. Marked with the makers name to underside along with No. 667 and a Registration Mark for 1884.
Boot scraper is in good condition with evidence of some repainting in the reasonably distant past.
The Kenricks iron foundry was first established in 1791 by Archibald Kenrick (1760 – 1835). The site bordering the Birmingham canal is still the Kenricks headquarters today. The firm became Archibald Kenrick & Son in 1827 and Archibald Kenrick & Sons in 1883.
