1930s mahogany shop counter cash register. Label for Alex Mitchelson, 60 Frederick Street, Edinburgh. Mechanism is in working order with bell that rings when drawn is opened and moves the paper roll forward one stop. Working key for top compartment. Bottom drawer has cash and note sections. Original instructions for use on inside of top compartment.

Good working condition in a nicely patinated mahogany shell. Mechanism has been restored to working order and a key made for the top lock.
