Victorian Steel & Wire Nursery Fire Guard, Circa 1880

Victorian Nursery fire guard in classic D shape of the period. Steel uprights support the rolled over top rail with wire mesh wrapped around. Two tool holders (one either side) with shaped enclosures on base to help hold the tools in place. Oak battens at either end.
