Chinese Export Octagonal Dish, Qianlong Period, Second Quarter 18th Century

A Chinese export dish with rock and peony, flowering blossom and lingzhi fungus in underglaze blue, dating from the second quarter of the 18thcentury.

The octagonal rim is fritted and there is a thin hairline crack.

As is usual with export ware, there is no mark on the back.
